Will the Zermatt eSIM work on my phone?
Any eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked handset — iPhone XS and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Pixel 3 and newer. Dial *#06#; an EID number means yes.
How fast is the data in Zermatt?
4G and 5G where the local network provides it. Speed varies by area and time of day, as it does for everyone on the same network.
Do I need a passport or registration?
No. That requirement applies to physical SIM cards bought locally, not to this eSIM.
When does my plan start?
On the first connection to a local network — when you switch off flight mode at ZRH / GVA. Not when you pay.
What happens when my data runs out?
Your connection simply pauses — no surprise bills, ever. To keep going, buy another package for the same destination. If that happens often, the unlimited plan is the cheaper answer.
